“The Grand Duel of Musketeers”

Date - Sunday, Dec 13^th, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Location – Sword Players Fencing Academy, 5 Kodiak Cr. #2;

Downsview, Sheppard & Allen Rd/Dufferin; From the 401, take Allen Rd. North, then turn left on Sheppard, then first right (just before the ESSO gas station) on Kodiak Crescent , look for pine trees on your far right, the entrance is behind the pine trees. Age – born in 1997 or younger

Equipment – a full set of protective equipment is required (chest protectors for girls, masks, jackets, under-arm plastrons, fencing pants, gloves), #2 (2” shorter then regular) electrical epees, body cords; all equipment can be rented at the Sword Players at a rate of $10 per item or $30 for an entire set

System – Six 5-hit (2 minutes) bouts in a Swiss System pool + 10 hit (3 x 2 minutes) DE finals for every age group: <=9 (born in 2000 or younger),=10 (born in 1999),=11 (born in 1998),=12 (born in 1997); mixed gender; seeding is based on the Swiss System pool. After the Swiss System pool two highest ranked girls and two highest ranked boys (all ages) will also duel in the two separate ”Super Finals”.

OFA/CFF participant license is required for guests (all SWP Musketeer Squadron Program members are already registered with OFA/CFF)

Entry fee - $20 ($30 without online registration) payable at the door, non SWP members have to sign an event liability waiver form
